  • Aged 18 and over
  • Education on their rights and freedom
  • Enhancing the ability to assert oneself effectively
  • Provide the necessary support, directing and referring women to appropriate resources

Active listening, intervention and home visit

  • Intervene individually with women in the metropolis in a safe environment
  • Offers active listening
  • Make home visits to women in difficulty, sick and who have given birth
  • Promote well-being and break isolation

Francisation

  • Beginner or intermediate level of French
  • Encourage growth in speaking, pronunciation, grammar, expression, and confidence.
  • Workshops

  • Food emergency:
    • Every Tuesday from 1 pm to 4pm
  • Furniture repair:
    • Distributes furniture to newly arrived families or those facing urgent furniture needs
  • Tax clinic:
    • Assistance to declaring income taxes
    • Annual income of less than 25,000 are eligible for this service
Day in daycare

Daycare Services

  • Open between 7h30 am to 18h00 pm
  • French training
  • Access to the daycare is free for any involvement in the center

Orientation Program for Integration Doctors

  • Integration of doctors who graduated from outside Canada and the United States (DHCEU)
  • Services include:
    • Writing career summaries
    • Help with exam preparation
    • Training on the medical approach in Canada, using case studies
    • Discussions on academic and psychosocial approaches
    • Psychological support (individual and group)

Wellness conference on mental health:

  • Interactive approach
  • Involvement from psychologists, physicians, psychotherapists, nutritionists and other experienced healthcare professionals
  • Improve on their well-being (physical exercise, diet, social life, etc)
  • Accommodation resources to restore self-confidence and regain self-esteem
